FMIL lost the battle...

As some of you girls may remember my FMIL was diagnosed with lung cancer about 8 months ago. It was a long battle, and she fought her hardest. This past Tuesday night she passed away, a day before my birthday. We take comfort knowing that she is in peace, finally free from pain, and in a better place, but nevertheless, it's a really difficult time. And FH was her little boy and they were super close.

Just as a side note, to all the girls who sometimes complain about their FMIL's (like I sometimes did) please be thankful for them, and be happy that they will be there on your big day to see their little boy get married. My FH will no longer be able to do that.

I am so sorry for your loss. FH's dad lost his battle with lung cancer a few years ago. Just an FYI the american cancer society does a lung cancer walk every year usually in plainview that I do with FH and his family in memory of his dad. If him and his family ever wanted to walk it in memory of her. I don't know if you would want to this year but it is on November 7th.

I understand where you are coming from regarding those that complain about their FMIL... I don't have a FMIL or a FFIL... It's not the best situation but we make the most of it...

I am sorry to hear about your loss and I will keep you and your FH in my prayers...

Agnes so sorry for your and FH's loss..I was crying reading that..I feel so terrible for him. No more pain no more suffering.. you will be in my thoughts and prayers

So sorry for your FH's lost. I also gripe about my FMIL but would definitely feel terrible if she wasnt able to share in our special day.

I am so sorry to hear that...my FH lost his mother and father within like, 8 months of each other a few years back...so as we go through the stuggle of the wedding when really important people are missing, I will be thinking of you both too...

Thank you girls soooo much. Your thoughts and prayers mean the world. And yes we have already signed up for the lung cancer walk on November 7th.
