Food Tasting

Hey! Have any of you made an appointment for a complementary food tasting prior to booking? Did they pressure you into booking after? We have a couple set up this week to see what food we like best. One venue said they would do a free tasting but they expect to book right after if we liked the food. Is it like that everywhere?

We did a good tasting at Jericho terrace on a second tour with our parents. I felt bad because the guy clearly thought we'd book right away after that, but we ended up going with fox hollow. I didn't feel pressured and if I did I would have walked out. They understand they're taking a risk offering a tasting before booking, so they shouldn't pressure you.

I did a food tasting at Jericho Terrace on my first visit and Anthony was really nice . I didn't feel pressured at all.

If they offer it prior to booking go for it! We just did one yesterday for our company holiday party at the Coral House and there was no pressure to book after the tasting. If they're pushy and rub you the wrong way after the tasting might just be a sign you don't want to book there!
