For all the computer people on the board.... UPDATE

Original post by NYCHICK

What is the best cd to use for my cd favors. I know some of them have a yellow look to them as oppsed to the silver color that the record labels use to print for their artists. Which would you say is the closest to the best that I can get as a regular joe? I know there has to be some that are better than others. Thanks a bundle

Well I have much praises to all of you for wonderful suggestions. So apparenltly I HAVE a cd on my laptop that I knew nothing about for 2 years(damn that sears salesguy ). I am listening to all the tracks off the wedding cd and so far so good. It sounds great.

I am using TDK, 700mb, 80 mins. Cd-R. I only made one cd just to listen can I use these cd's to burn all of my favors? The tag says they were made in india.

Sales ppl don't know everything. Sometimes they are moved around from one dept to another to cover lunch breaks!

Yeah, you'll be fine. If they burn slow, I'd use the other machine to burn them, or it's gonna take forever.

It took 6 minutes to burn 16 songs? Is that normal? or too slow?

6 minutes isnt bad really. I'd say that would work.

So you have 79 to go now? Seriously, it's not bad.

Sorry I can't seem to be able to count I am downloading more and it is only taking about 40 seconds to copy the songs to the cd sorry for the confusion. I thought it took longer, but I guess from your last post that that time is not bad either
