For those doing a Montage

When are you going to play your montage? What songs will you be using?

My DJ recommended using 15 songs of me growing up, 15 of FH growing up and 25 of us together. Are you ladies doing the same?

The DJ company also said we should pick a song for both of us growing up and then us together.

I'd like to hear what you girls are doing so I can get more ideas.

If we give the DJ pics on a CD we have unlimited pics!!! I CAN SO GO TO TOWN WITH THAT!!!! But I don't want to make it tooo long that it drags!

I'm not so much up to this part just yet.. but I have started to collect pictures for it.

I think the 2 songs would be perfect!

I am doing a montage but I think we were told to do 1 song for me, 1 song for FH and one song for the both of us ... I have no idea what songs we are using

I did a montage. I think we had a max of 50 photos. so we each picked baby photos and then picked pics of us together and then narrowed down from there. We had 3 songs. one for him, me and then us.

I dont even remember the songs but I can pull out the copy the dj gave us. THey were all old (classic songs).....it came out great.

We are doing one but we want it to be 2 songs max! I know people will start to get bored if it gets too dragged out. Songs Im not sure yet... still debating lol

Did you mean 15 PICTURES each of you two growing up and then 25 PICS of you two together? and not songs? Thats roughly a 165 minute montage
We are doing one song me me growing up, one for FH growing up and then one of the two of us...

Still on the fence for my song... But so far its Faith Hill- fireflies

FH wants five for fighting- superman (im not scared) cause he is a HUGE superman fan!

and we havent picked our 'together' song yet ...we cant even nail down our first dance song yet lol.

Doing a Montage, its going to have same, us both growing up then us together. not sure how many pictures we are allowed yet...

but i think i want: everything my michael buble playing during it.

LMAO that;s what I meant...I am still recovering from my B-party. We can only use 2 songs.

we r doing it right as u get seated for dinner...so while u r waiting for the food it will go on....our dj said to use 3 songs but we thought it was 2 long so we r using to songs for a 35 pic montage..we r prob going to do 5 baby of each 5 alone of us now and 15 of us together..hth

The Montage, for weddings anyway, is normally shown right after the grand entrance, sometimes before the first dance.

At other events it's shown around desert time.

I'd ask your DJ how long the montage will be, that will allow you to dictate what songs you want and how many pictures. If your doing 3 songs and he wants the full song it's too long. A 9-12 minute motage is imo too long. Avg montage's are..... 4 minutes.
Just be careful... cuz i've seen montages that have TONS of pictures that are only on the screen for 3 seconds which is too fast.

I'd say you choose your song, he choose his song, and if there is another version of your first dance song maybe that could be nice.

The DJ most likely wont use the entire songs......ours just used portions of the songs. And it is shown during dinner so it does not take away from dance time.
