Do you automatically test once you are late?? Do you buy a stash of HPT?? This could get rather costly. I have become friendly with my GYN assistant and she gave me a couple of the ones the dr uses. So simple to use and nothing better than free.

Well, I am no longer TTC , but when I was, I would test every month. For me it was a given with the fact I didn't get an AF to go by. Hence sometimes I would test every other day for a week or so.
We tried almost for a year, and after spending $$ each month after the first 2 months, I bought in bulk. Much cheaper and always there when you get the urge to test.
I did in the beginning but as the months went on I stopped. I then tested if I was very late & i wasn't so it save me alot of $$!

I don't test anymore b/c everytime I do it's guaranteed that the next day I'll get AF! GRRRRR! I'm tired of the disappointment so I just stopped doing it all together. I guess if I was really late and my temperatures stay elevated for a long time (18 days) then I would test.

I buy the Answer tests. In Walmart it is 2 tests for $6. Pretty cheap and lots of women recommended them to me.
