does anyone know how to delay my period with BC pills?

You can take your next dose of birth control when you were suppose to stop. Like let's say your last pill is today and then tomorrow you start your fake pills. Well instead of taking the fake one's, start a new pack and this will delay it for a month. My GYN said its safe and no harm is done. people do it for reason like going on vacation and weddings and things like that. Not for longtime usage though.

I checked my calendar and found out i would be getting my period the day before the wedding so i skipped my inactive pills for three cycles. It worked so now i wont have to worry about it for the wedding and the honeymoon. The only problem of doing it was the bloating. That was terrible.

I went on a cruise and I skipped my period by taking the next pack and it worked great. I will do this for my wedding if it turns out that I am scheduled to get my period. I just wanted to let everyone know that it is perfectly safe to skip your period! There has been studies done on it and everything, I'll try to find some info I know I've read it on cnn.com before and stuff though.
