For those who have been to Montauk

Anyone ever hear of the Atlantic Terrace hotel? We are thinking of going there for a weekend, but don't know if it is any good.

Can you recommend somewhere nice for a romantic getaway out there?

It has been a really long time since I have stayed in a hotel out there....we liked the Panoramic inn & Gurney's. I do not know about the one you are talking about, but like I said...it's been a while

We just went a few weeks ago and stayed at the Montauk yacht club. It was beautiful there and kind of secluded, which was nice. They were having a monthly special when we went, so we got a decent deal, but I'm not sure if they'd be having anything when you're going. I'll try to find the site for you...

Harbourside is really nice. It's near the docks. Mearle is the owner, she's great!

Another vote for the panoramic inn, esp if you can get one of the houses on the beach.

Ok, I go every summer.

Nice places to stay:

Sunrise Guest House (bed and breakfast) they have a nice hot tub, and great view of the beach.

These have all been my favs.

Anothe vote for Panoramic View (the Salt Sea building) and also for the Royal Atlantic East (condominium, very expensive but great if you go with another couple)
