Re: Fortunoff's bridal registry

They were VERY Helpful. Every 10 steps in the store there was another employee asking me if I needed help.

Re: Fortunoff's bridal registry

They are pretty helpful. We had fun! The first time you go can definately be overwhelming, just remember this is the fun stuff!

They give you a checklist of the things typically on a registry to help you! Good luck and have fun!!!

Re: Fortunoff's bridal registry

I HIGHLY recommend Fortunoff! their bridal registry is fantastic and the customer service is exceptional! Before I went, I found it helpful to look at their website for top China, crystal patterns, etc.
They also have a GREAT list of how much of what items to register for from china to linens - good luck and have FUN!

Fotunoff's has been good. We have gotten many things off of our registry and they were shipped within days of the purchase.

Re: Fortunoff's bridal registry

i registered at the fortunoffs in the source. it was great. it was so much fun and everyone is really helpful. forunoff was the only store we registered at where everything is seperated into categories. it really helped a lot. regestering there was a breeze.

Re: Fortunoff's bridal registry

I registered at Fortunoffs too and it has been good so far. But they told people who bought gifts that it would take months to come in because they were on back order and it wound up being shipped to me early. It wasn't a problem because it was an engagement party and not a surprise but for a shower that might have been a problem. And do NOT go on a weekend!

Re: Fortunoff's bridal registry

you can also register on line. we did a lot of our registering online and we are also able to track what was bought for us already on line. another plus, is that when people order things online, they sometimes offer specials. our china was once buy one get one setting half off, so my dad bought us all 14 sets! its great!

Re: Fortunoff's bridal registry

I might be the only one who did not have such a wonderful experience there. We went through the entire store and spent a couple of hours there picking out items for our registry. When we brought our scanner back to the counter, everything got wiped out, and the saleswoman proceeded to tell us that WE must have done something wrong, as if we were complete idiots. She was extremely rude to us

We had to go back and re-scan everything again.

i had no problems whatsoever there, except that the flatware is so **** far from the dishes that you keep walking back and forth and it was like a million degrees in there. but anyway.... great selection and really helpful people :)

Re: Fortunoff's bridal registry

Octobergirl you are not the only one! I must of dealt with the same salesperson. We had such an awful experience thought it was just a bad day went back again and had the same problem. We ended up cancelling it!
I am not trying to discourage anyone though most people are very happy which is why we went there in the first place!

Re: Fortunoff's bridal registry

I had a horrible and an excellent experience with them.
They didn't know a lot of information or maybe it was just who was working that day.
I.e. wedgwood has a program you can sign up for - they told me it didn't exist.
My crystal pattern has been retired (not discontinued - waterford is never discontinued) I found that out when I went to bloomies to do my second registry (for my out of state guest who know bloomingdales but not fortunoffs)
Then they lost all my information they made me fill out when I arrived to start my registry so they told me I didn't need anything and they would mail me whatever coupons they give out. (I still have not received those).
They do not remove items in the store on weekends. So I went home and tried to get into the registry but we realized that they didn't give us the information. FHvcalled them where they told him that they was NO way they would have allowed us to leave the store without that information and that he was LYING!!!!!! He was furious!!!!!
Anyway we went back and they were very pleasant and we worked things out and the experience was great. I think every place has its ups and downs.
Can anyone tell me what they received when they registered so I can tell them what I don't have
