Found great candles!

I found a great site for candles!!!!!

I ordered beautiful handpainted lilac candles for the rehearsal dinner, 3 different large multi-candle holders to put on the bar at the reception and elegant candlesticks with holders for the tables. I can't believe I got so much all in one place! What a relief!!!!!

I'm going to try to attach pics (I hope it works, sorry if they don't enlarge well).

LuvsBob....Thanks for offerring to answer any of my questions. I'm sure I will have tons as the months go by. As for buying in the store, well, I've always been the kind of person who takes a chance. I buy stuff on e-bay and take a chance. Thankfully I've been lucky and haven't had too many problems. 99% of the products I've bought online have been in excellent condition. I'm sure the candles will be too. And if not, I can always sell them on e-bay and keep looking.

I didn't realize there were so many rude people on this site. My sister always raved about this site when she was planning her wedding. I watched her do so many things last minute and get so stressed. I was just so excited to be way ahead of myself and get some things done way ahead of schedule so I won't have to worry about it later. I guess I came to the wrong site to share my excitement. Sorry you find us rude but it's funny that you have never posted before. You have NO INFORMATION about your wedding filled in and your FIRST post on this site is pushing a vendor. If your sister was on this site before you then she should have told you that is a BIG BIG BIG NO NO! So before you call us rude maybe try following the rules.

I 100% agree with you swags!

I bought 17 glass bowls less than two months after I got engaged with the intention of using them for centerpieces, as well as 4 cases of candles for favors.

Granted, I overbought on the candles and my MIL ended up paying for floral centerpieces so they ended up being a waste of money.

Sometimes people know what they want (or at least think they do) early in the game, see it at a good price, and buy it.

I sometimes think you girls jump on actual brides in your attempts to protect us from the fakies.

The fakies s*ck, but really, is it worth an inquisitorial squad????????? I loved the welcoming community I had when I first joined the site. It made planning and adjusting in a new place so much easier. I love all the friends I made on this site, including the OFC members I'm pissing off by writing this. But now it feels like someone new puts the wrong thing in her first post and she gets chased off.

I have to agree with Rachel on this.
I too, as a member-in-training of OFC, hate the fakies and want to be rid of them.
But I think we have to remember to give people a chance to show us whether they are fake or not before jumping on them. We might be scaring off possible memebers of our community.
I know this is the only forum I post on, and the only reason I lurked before I actually posted was because I swore I would not join a wedding website....little did I know what would happen...... .
My point (and I do have one) is that not all people know the rules before posting. And some people make mistakes......I think we need to cut some people some clack some of the time.....
