So my friend told me today that you should always lie about your wedding date when buying your wedding dress to make sure that it arrives on time(meaning you should tell them your date is earlier than it actually is)
I already ordered my dress and I didn't know about this little trick and I gave them my real date! I ordered it over a year from my real date though..Should I be worried? Help!

you're fine. i told the real date too which is march '11 and they said it would be in dec '11
plus if you lie than you cant get fit the week or two before...bc technically they would think you're married and know you lied.

my sister told them an earlier date bc she had a destination wedding and wanted to make sure there was no confusion before she left!
I can see why lying is a good idea but you should have plenty of time
