I just booked my Tahiti HM!

1 night Sofitel Tahiti Resort
4 nights Intercontinental Resort and Spa Moorea-Garden Bungalow
4 nights Intercontinental Resort Thalasso Spa-sapphire Overwater Villa

I read so many great things about the Thalasso so I'm SO excited!!!!

I leave October 23rd-will anyone be there??

Really? That su*ks! We're going to Moorea and Bora Bora and we'll be on Bora Bora from 10/18-10/22. I was able to make a reservation for Villa Mahana for our last night and they didn't mention renovations so I guess we just made it before they start?

Really? That su*ks! We're going to Moorea and Bora Bora and we'll be on Bora Bora from 10/18-10/22. I was able to make a reservation for Villa Mahana for our last night and they didn't mention renovations so I guess we just made it before they start?

The renovation starts a few days before I get to Bora Bora (around the 29th). Therefore, enjoy Villa Mahana for me!!!! Damien recommended the restaurant at the St. Regis. I believe it is called Lagoon or something like that??? Although, I'm sure it does not compare to Villa Mahnana-but atleast it was recommended by its chef!

We did bring one of those plugs and a converter but wound up never using the converter. We used it to charge our camera batter, ipods, and my hair dryer!

If you go to Radio Shack and tell them where you are going they will give you the right one!

Ahh, a converter! I knew there was something I was forgetting to buy - need to add that to my list.

Well, I did some honeymoon shopping today... bought blowup rafts, water shoes, lots of sunscreen (30, 45, and 50 SPF), Aloe cream.

Hoping to buy our snorkel gear this week and that should cover the things we need to bring (other than clothes of course!). Very exciting!
