So we need to pick either Friday night or Sunday night and I don't know what to do!!
Friday-people will come late because of work.
Sunday-people may leave early because they have work in the morning.
So confused and everyone has an opinion !!!!!!(Little vent right there lol)
Please if you had a friday or sunday night wedding and can give me any advice I would be so gratefu!l

Either way... the people that are important in your life will take off friday, or they will take off monday..
the reason i chose friday is because at least you and your guests will have the rest of the weekend to recover from the wedding...

same here. plus i feel like friday is a more fun party night then sunday.

We did a Friday night and I wouldn't have had it any other way! We are night people/party people, and we knew that a Friday night would be no problem for our crowd. I don't know if you're getting married in a church or at the RH, but we got married at our RH and every single person was there! The invite was for 7pm and guests were greeted with champagne cocktails and passed canapes. Ceremony was at 7:30 pm, and then we partied all night long! You know your crowd best. I knew that with a Sunday night we wouldn't have been able to do the after party we had, etc.

I prefer a Sunday. It's really hard to leave work early, and I have a hard time staying up on Friday nights. On Sunday, your guests can relax all day before the wedding.

We chose Sunday from like 3-9pm so that ppl coming from OOT had the weekend to get there and have some pre-wedding festivities before the wedding. Most ppl will take off monday and if not 9pm is early enough to get home and get to bed.

Def Friday. I don't think I would like a Sunday/ I would be afraid that too many would leave early or wouldn't come at all bc they woudln't want to take an entire day off the next day. At least on a Friday you can just leave a few hours early from work.

I would go with Friday..People can always leave work a little early and they are more likely to drink and have a good time since they will not have work the next day. I have been to both a Friday and Sunday wedding and found the Friday one to be more lively.

I'm getting married on a Friday. Church at 3pm(I know-its early) and receptiion at 7pm. I feel like with prices the way they are, Friday night weddings have become the norm.

I prefer sundays... If i were to pick Friday-my oot people will probably need Thursday off..etc and it just much more easier on a sunday.. Take monday off , start the week right..lol
Don't worry too much about it, the people that care about you will do whatever they need to do to be there.
sent out STDs a year in advance to give people time to schedule accordingly

We had a Sunday night wedding and very few people left early. More than half of our guest were from oot so it was better for them. If people want to be there they will be there no matter what day you choose.

I have the same set up, ceremony is at 3:30 pm and the cocktail hour starts at 7pm.
I prefer Friday because I will have time to recover Sat and Sunday.

Def do the Fri!!!! I would rather have my guests take a 1/ 2 day from work than not have as good of a time b/c they have to go to work the next day!!!!
