Re: Fun question: Who cooks & how often?

I cook about 3-4 times a week. I love to grill! Kevin grills often too...he's the best. Whenever we visit family & friends, Kevin is the 'Grill Master'. He makes one hell of a filet!

Re: Fun question: Who cooks & how often?

We both do the cooking, but I do most of it. I cook the most 2 days a week, I tend to do my biggest cooking on Sunday. I cook two meats, chicken, turkey or fish, then in the week while I am at the gym, hubby will make a side dish to go with the meat. Pasta, food(ground provision) or rice. It works welll for us, we are a small family.

Re: Fun question: Who cooks & how often?

I have the same resolution as Jodi. I try to make a least 1 meal a week. FH will help. He makes great sauce, meatball and Lasagna!

Re: Fun question: Who cooks & how often?

I cook every night except I want him to cook on sat. when I have to work and it's a battle everytime!! Like it's to0 much for him to cook 1 stupid night!! I'm marrying an Italian Momma boy (lucky me!) LOL

Last Friday I had a big talk with him telling him he will have to fend for himself since i am going on Nutrisystem and it will be to much temptation for me to cook for him. Well you had to see his face! It look like I just told him I was pregnant. Then he says 'well you can pick me up some tv dinners right?' What the hell is wrong with this mans two feet? I swear they would be lost without us!!

Re: Fun question: Who cooks & how often?

I'm also very lucky in that my FI does all the cooking...he likes to cook, he is better at it than I am, and he usually gets home first.

Though I should probably try at least one a week..though we do tend to get Chinese once a week, what do you think?? Can I claim that is my day to cook and order the chinese...

Re: Fun question: Who cooks & how often?

I am so embarrassed. My new year's resolution is to learn how to cook.
This weekend I will be making a 2-course meal for friends. Nothing fancy but I am making baked ziti and brownies for dessert. I figure if we have friends over, we have to feed them. In essence, I have to cook.

Ask me about making drinks, that I can handle...

Re: Fun question: Who cooks & how often?

I love to cook and do almost every night. My FI likes to try to help, but he usually just gets in the way. I make him set the table and wash everything after (we don't have a dishwasher)! He is a big help. I love the Food network also! I just got a new low cal Mahi Mahi recipe on it that I'm dying to try!

Re: Fun question: Who cooks & how often?

MY FH cooks almost every night. He is a teacher ang gets home around 5ish, I don't get home until like 7. If he wants to eat before 8 then he has to cook. It really is wonderful...and he cleans too!!

Re: Fun question: Who cooks & how often?

I cook everyday except for Friday (pizza night) and Saturday. My FI doesn't even attempt to cook and I'm kinda glad because I think he'd burn down the house : ).

Re: Fun question: Who cooks & how often?

I love to cook & do it as often as I can. Usually I get a divine inspiration & wind up cooking 2 or 3 things in one night.. FH cannot cook- and if he does it has so much pepper & hotsauce in it, that it's unbearable.
