Fun resteraunt in NYC for my sis' birthday?

Next Friday we are going out for dinner & drinks for my sister's 26th birthday. I think it is going to be just the girls. We want to go somewhere fun or cool for dinner. Any suggestions?

Mangia Y Bevi...it's on Ninth between 53rd and 54th (I'm pretty sure anyway).

Lots of fun...people dance on the chairs and the music is great!!

Thank you ladies. I have been to Lucky Cheng's, it is my backup option.

The other place sounds great, I will look into it.

Has anyone ever been to Butter? My sister mentioned it as a trendy fun resteraunt.

Any other trendy places?

what about DIP the fondue restaurant.
Upscale and fun. on 3rd & 30th. GREAT drinks... very tasty different types of cheese & chocolate fondue.

I second DIP. It's one of my favorite places! Drinks are expensive ($10), but SO yummy! Get the mint chocolate chip ice cream martini!

In terms of fondue, I love the cheddar cheese fondue and the milk chocolate fondue. The peanut butter cup fondue was too bitter for me.

EVERYONE LOVES 'Sea' its here in Williamsburg, people come from all over for it! its looks like something out of Sex & the City (actually i thinkthey DID shoot in there!)
its Thai food.

Thank you - I was just debating about BED. I heard about SEA, but since we are all coming into the city from different areas, think we are going to stay central in Manhattan. But I am going to check it out.
