Funny RSVP Responses!

I know many people have posted RSVP vents/sad posts (myself included) so here's something a little more lighthearted....

Post the funny things your guests have done when filling out their RSVP cards...

I preface this by saying that we numbered our response cards on the back lower left corner in black ink (very small)

(1) One older guest wrote his name on the RSVP line, and then his 'number' in quotes next to it. Not sure if he was trying to be funny or thought he needed to include that!

(2) FH's aunt, uncle and cousin were invited but only the aunt and uncle can attend. Coincidentally they happened to be number 3 (for our numbered cards) but his aunt crossed out the 3 and wrote in '2'

-- she must have thought we numbered how many people were invited!

(3) my dad's cousins added a 1c stamp to the envelope even though we used forever stamps. Better safe than sorry!

(4) Our very close friends are getting married 2 weeks before us. They wrote 'Mr. & Mrs. Joshua H____' on the RSVP line and then in parentheses wrote (Josh & Megan). Really? Like we wouldn't know who they are?

I had one guest put xo <3 xo on the # line.

Shes a little out there.

Had several guests write essays on the inside

I still have a while before mine go out but your RSVP's were funny

I did have some of my mom's friends call her and say they got the 'invitation', meaning the STD and theat they will be there but there was no reply card

. My mom explained that it was an STD that the invitation would come later, though it says that on the STD

My one BM sent hers back to me and wrote 2 for the # of people and then wrote me a note: 'Now I need to find me a man by then! Keep your eyes peeled LOL!'

She's nuts LOL!

A few people sent us e-mails RSVPing to our STDs, and one of FH's aunts sent us a very cute RSVP e-mail after we sent out our OOT guide.

ETA: our STDs were magnets that were very obviously not invitations, and had 'invite to follow' on them

one couple wrote a note on the back about not knowing if this # on the back of the card was for them or their parents who werent attending. They wrote a whole confusing story about the # which didnt matter b/c we had their names.

I thought the RSVPS were going to the brides houes so I rsvp'd for 2 people and 3287 midgets....only to find out it went to her moms

whats with people thinking STD's are invitations?!! I had a lot of people think that too!

I also had people write 'essays' on the side of the RSVP about how they can't wait to come! Cute, but funny!

We got a response card that wasnt ours - but it was put it our response envelope

The couple had received multiple invitations - and mixed up the response cards and envelopes

Also my maid of honor wrote 'MOH' on hers lol

FH was like - what does that mean?

we've gotten a lot of long responses written on the cards (there's a lot of blank space) and I really enjoy those.

We put forever stamps on the envelopes so people wouldn't have to worry about postage going up...someone put an additional forever stamp on it! lol! Both of them are teachers! The envelope is not that big!

on the spot where you put your name my mom wrote GUESS WHO

but she didnt realize we used one of those invisable pens to write #;s on the back

i knew it was right in just a few minutes
