Future SIL ?

I kind of see why she would be upset to. If my DH sister was getting married and I wasn't asked to be in the bridal party I would be hurt too. Family is family, by both blood and marriage.
Why not ask her to be a bridesmaid, all it is letting her get the gown to match the bp and letting her take pictures. I am sure she will appreciate an invite to be in the bridal party. If you are really against her being a bms let her do a reading at the wedding.

honestly, i wouldn't include her just because you feel guilty. if you want to include her in the ceremony than do so but not bc she is making you feel bad....maybe she can do a reading....even if its not religious you can have her read some type of poem, etc.

see if she would like to do a reading or something ... you do not have to feel bad that you did not put her in .. geeze!

Find a way to make her feel like she is a part of it ;;
