FYI ... to all St. Brigid's Brides!!!

I just found out that they won't let you throw anything outside the church. No petals, birdseed, etc. Only bubbles. Someone posted this question recently & I'm glad they did b/c I just worked it out w/my florist to include rose petals for throwing!

Bummer, I was looking forward to that pic outside the church!

Oooh I am really upset! I wanted so badly to have rose petals....

Bubbles?? I don't think I would like that. Hmmm - I'll have to think about this...

Thank you VERY much for the update!

Don't feel bad I have the same problem..

I was really looking forward to the petal toss.. I may do the whole bubble thing or just do the streamer shooting thingies..

Another thing you may want to ask your priest is he'd be willing to allow you to do the petal toss if you pay one of the ushers to clean it up before the next mass..

I can't do that either..

Re: FYI ... to all St. Brigid's Brides!!!

oooh, streamers, maybe that will work .... not sure, though. Fr. Ralph said that they are concerned about people slipping on the pavement after the 'goodies' are thrown.

I'm not into the bubble thing either ... not really my style. But what then,... balloons that fly away?

More ideas are needed, that's for sure!
