getting frustrated

getting frustrated

This is getting so frustrating, i tried to stay positive and dont want to get annoyed but its hard not to. I order my invites in february, i paid to have them expedited and its been a month and i still haven't received them. What annoys me more is that she can take long to answer emails. For example WEEKS ago she said she will email me a proof, honestly shouldn't take long to make 1 proof. I didnt get it for DAYS which ok fine at that point there was still time so wasnt as annoyed yet. I said the proof was fine and she said she is sending me the invoice then and said she will that day. Again didnt get the invoice that day and then when i emailed to tell her i didnt get it, she didnt answer for a few days and said she emailed the paypal invoice but guess it didnt go through and she re-sent that day, so for a few days just waiting for her to send an invoice. She emailed me beginning of this week to tell me instead of gold shipping slips she will do opal and i said that was fine and if she can please mail them to the calligrapher herself and i gave her the address, so this way it will cut down on time and to do it that day. She said yes she is mailing them to the calligrapher right away. I emailed her RIGHT BACK and said to do it fed ex overnight and if she wants she can invoice me for that and ill pay for it. She didnt respond back and still hasn't so not even sure if she sent it by fed ex. I NEED the calligrapher to get the slips this weekend, which she said she can do them all this weekend if she gets the package.

I JUST called her and no answer. When i emailed her in february, i specifically told her that i would need the invites in 3-4 weeks and if she is able to get it to me by then, i told her my whole situation and she said it was no problem at all and i can expedite them and i would get it by the time i would need them. I told her i want to mail them out by march 17th, i said if i mail them out a few days after thats not a problem just not much longer after that date. I have no clue what the progress is on my invites, dont even know if they are almost ready, if i knew this then i'd feel alot better. Not knowing anything makes me nervous bc i sit here wondering if she is even almost done. If she wasnt able to do this then she should've told me before taking my order. I emailed quite a few ppl before her and they were all honest, and she was saying how she can make them quicker and get them out on time so i went with her.

She has a store with other workers, so honestly shouldnt take this long bc its not like shes doing them by herself. She has a design team, i think its 3 people. I am going to try and call the store again and hopefully she will answer. Usually she always emails on friday so hoping to hear from her soon with an update. I NEED to find out if she will get it to me in a few days or not, actually forget not getting it, i need to tell her that I NEED my invites ASAP and to work all night at them or whatever she has to do.

sorry for my long vent but this is just so frustrating. I dont see why it would take 4 weeks to make these invites when you own a studio with 3 workers, this was one big reason i picked her over the others because i figured she would be able to do them right away

I can see how that would be frustrating ... i mean, your wedding is in 2 months! I'm sorry! Hope you get through to her.

not sure where she is located.. but can you pick it up yourself??

it could be that she already sent out your cards as per your request and thinks that since she's done it, there's no need to respond.. which is totally rude and unprofessional.. stay optimistic..

no, shes in another state otherwise trust me i would've told her i would pick it up myself. No she didnt send out the invitations, however she was supposed to send out the shipping slips to the calligrapher to address them while she finishes the invites, thats what i asked her to send out now. They are boxed invitations so there are no envelopes, its this cardstock that goes on top of the box to address them. ANd i dont think the calligrapher got them yet

thank you

Oh my gosh I would be stalking her! Maybe try and speak to someone else at the company if she isn't answering you.

thank you...the funny thing is that i didnt get invites from this company in london because she told me i wouldn't get it for 4 weeks and she wont promise them sooner bc she doesnt want to promise something she cant do. AT this point i should've gone with the london company, its been 4 weeks now

I would be frustrated to, especially since you told her your situation and she seemed fine in doing it in that time frame. I hope she gets them to your calligrapher this weekend.

On a side note: I hear its better to give guests less time to respond, so they just put it back into the mail instead of waiting till the last minute. It will all work out

hahahaha thank you for putting a positive twist on it. Nobody is asking yet 'where the H*LL is my invite' so guess its a good thing.

yeah the other lady was very upfront. She said she can do them in 3 weeks thats not a problem but she said she was also estimating with delivery time and said she cant promise it sooner. I really appreciated her being honest with me, and instead of saying YEAH NO PROBLEM just to make money
