Getting really mad at DUET! VENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been almost 7 weeks since my e-pics... I havn't gotten a teaser, A CD NOTHING!

I called last Tuesday they said it should be in by Thursday or Friday... I called Thursday (exactly 6 weeks since my pics) they said Nope maybe Friday.. .they didn't come in Friday either.

So I let it go over the weekend knowing the photogs are busy, so I called today and they said they still don't have it. To try calling FRIDAY if I don't hear anything. I said FRIDAY?!?!? That is over 7 weeks. He said he would leave a note for TJ and hopefully he can get them to me.

THIS IS BS!! I even said I don't want to have the same problem with my wedding pics and I am getting concerned. He said there is a high demand for epics now... YEAH WELL I TOOK THEM ALMOST 7 WEEKS AGO WHEN MAYBE THE DAMAND WASN'T SO HIGH!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!

When I took the pics TJ said 4-6 weeks. This is BS and I am getting really sick of them!!! UGHHHHHHHHH

FH thinks that they left our epics untouched/not edited because I stalked them to get them back quicker

im so sorry you don t like them! did you tell them you are dissapointed? maybe you can go for a second shoot? this is my concern as well... im soooo afraid i will HATE them... so im waiting patiently and calmly....

I feel like they are overbooking themselves and we have to pay for it, which I don't think is right.

i had to wait exactly seven weeks for my epics- TJ was my photog too.
they came out awesome though.
i know they 'dont do' teasers but they should.

im starting to think that because they are so popular, they can kinda get away with some things.

alyssa i wasnt so crazy about Tjs choices on some of my pics- can i ask for more??

makes me nervous now, i used alberto too but our shoot wasent that long. i feel like im soo excited and dont want to be let down

I wouldn't be too concerned with anyone else's bad comments about their epics because there was a post on here not too long ago about a girl who's mother didn't like her epics at all and I thought they were very pretty so I guess its all in the eyes of the beholder ya know? Just wait til' you get your pics and then you can see for yourself. As for waiting as long as some of you girls have waited for pics...that's ridiculous and I would be pissed too. I say stay on them til' you get what you want. You are paying for a service and they need to make sure that they do everything they can to make you happy.

Oi...I just responded to another similar post. I have had some major issues with Duet as well. I get the impression that they take on much more work than they can handle, and as a result , are ridiculously unaccommodating and impersonal. Kind of regretting my photog choice as well :(

That way you have documentation of your correspondence!!

I'm thinking of taking it one further - my sister just met with them last week for her wedding but hasn't booked yet. I'm wondering if a casual email mentioning that she wants to see my pictures before she decides might speed things along a bit.

I have to say I am getting more and more worried about using Duet. I had a major problem with them recently in which they wanted to switch my e-pic location simply because TJ had another appointment scheduled in the city for 2 hours after my appointment. Not sure what to do here. Our e-pics are on Wednesday but I'm getting really nervous about the quality and service Duet is offering recently. Maybe I should have went with a less popular photographer from Duet. When we booked Eric would not stop raving about TJ but to be honest I hate the feeling of become simply a number.

HOLY COW!! Had we known TJ was so popular we may have picked another photog. And yes, I don't want to run into the same issues with our wedding pics. I mean, we are paying a LOT of money for them! We should get them in a reasonable amount of time.

I just hit 7 weeks from my wedding this past Friday...I was married on 9/18...still not even a teaser

I feel like they got really popular relatively quickly & now they're overwhelmed. I called today (it's only been 4 weeks) but our photog--Sam--said it should 4 weeks. I talked to them today and they said prob another week or 2 I really wanna get my STD's out before Thanksgiving.

yu know this thread is making me angry but i'm going to add fuel to the fire.

i got a text from Duet on Oct 3 saying my payment was way passed due and this was their 2nd notice. I had FH call them b/c a.) i was at a baby shower and i was not getting into a screaming match there and b.) it was cashed on Sept 22.

apparently it was put into the wrong file. honest mistake i'm sure but VERY careless.

plus, shouldn't this ensure i'd get my freakin 2nd disc of pics after their screw up?

Wow..thats the worst..I was thinking about booking with them for my wedding but after seeing this...um I don't know. I think if a company says 6 weeks...then it should be six weeks!! Thats crazy

That is crazy!!! 4-6 weeks is a long time to begin with, 7 is ridiculous... I would definitely talk to a manager or someone about it... tell them you are waiting for these for your STDs and they're holding up the whole process...

I'm sorry, I know you must be going nuts waiting for these to come in.

I didn't realize everyone was feeling the same way. Glad to knwo I am not the only one though. This is BS and I do plan on stalking them daily until I get them.

I am begining to question my decision to go with them also. Great pics DO NOT compinsate for bad customer serivice

I took my E-pics same day as you, called on Thursday. i was told that TJ was backed up because he was getting so popular and busy, and wanted to make sure he was giving all clients the same time and attention, and that they should be in soon, but they would call to find out the status.
