I already know what I'm getting my MOH and bridesmaids as a thank you gift. They are pretty big gifts, but I read something somewhere about getting them gifts to thank them for organizing the shower. Should I do this, or let the big gift cover all that they have done, and write nice thank you notes for the shower? Or should I give them something small, like a gift cert. for a manicure? What have some of you done?
My friend gave us nicer gifts for being in the wedding party to thank us for throwing her the shower.
I never thought of a separate gift, but I do like the idea of giving the gift certificate for the manicure as a shower 'thank you', so that all the girls can go together the day before the wedding to get manicures. I wanted to give them that anyway, but giving it at the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding would obviously be too late to get those manicures FOR the wedding, so this is a perfect chance to do that! Plus, you can write 'As a thank you for giving my the Bridal Shower of my dreams, I would like to give you this gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure so all of us can pamper our fingers and toes the day before the wedding'. That's a really cool idea. Thank you for posting this...
