Gift ideas for my assistant....

I am not a huge fan of this girl but tomorrow is her 25th birthday. She is nasty and not very helpful, but I get the idea that it might be because I am younger than her and she reports to me. Anyway, any ideas? I was thinking about a spa gift certificate, but it doesn't really seem like her style. Any ideas??

I don't think you can eer go wrong with a spa gc - no mater what type of person you are. If not, what about an organizer of some sort

Well I am going to take her to lunch, then I was thinking of maybe a Coach Wristlet maybe and possibly a cute necklace? Any ideas where to get cute jewelry in a hurry? Here is the wristlet I was thinking about....

It's only about $70 for the wristlet. I mean if I got a gc, I would have to get it for at least $50 right?

if you don't really like her then lunch and the bag or gc is fine. I do not think you need to get jewlery too.

Tammy- lol, it isn't that much money, and I think she will get use out of it. This girl is strange, I can't tell her style. Today she has on a backless belly shirt and a mini-skirt IN THE OFFICE!!!

If figure if I got a gc I would have to do at least $50 and that woudln't get her very far in NYC.

Girls, if I could fire her and hire all of you I would do so in a heartbeat! Unfortunately she is my boss's neice.! So I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I can't complain to my boss, and I can't fire her. Basically I do both her work and mine.

My boss forgot my birthday last year The two years before that, his wife and picked my gifts. His 9 year old daughter (at the time) picked an awesome silver bracelet that I still wear.

I wonder if he will remember that Saturday is my b-day.
