Just got a check with an RSVP no. Do we send a thank you now or wait til after the wedding???

I had the same thing happen we just called and thanked them and will send a formal Thank you card after the wedding
I sent an email and then will send a formal thank you when we get them back from photographer.
I sent a shower thank you to the same person b/c they sent me a shower gift even though I didn't invite them!

According to proper etiquette you are supposed to send a thank you note out as soon as you receive a gift. HTH!

I would do the same just to make it easier on you... but on the other hand it may save u time to do it now rather than on top of all the others u have to do after the wedding... sorry im no help hahaha

I would write it now, when it's fresh in your mind and then just tuck it away all ready to be mailed in a separate section.
