I dont want to give too much info right now, due to lurkers...
BUT please answer this question for me...
IF you were given a substantial amount of money and a substantial amount of free/discounted things...would you plan your wedding in 4 months??? FOUR MONTHS!
orrrr would you rather spend all the money yourself and do it traditionally over the course of a year/ year and a half??

If I was given a large amount of money and discounted items for the wedding and I didnt have to stress about paying for it I would have my wedding in 4 months without hesitation. If money wasnt an issue we would be getting married sooner than we are. The only reason my date is so far off is because we had to spread out the payments

honestly, it depends ... if you want a year, will you still be getting all the money / donations / etc? if so, i'd wait ... if the gift money is only available now, then do it now (in 4 months)

im worried that because its such short notice, i may not get the photographer and/or RH I want
those are the only 2 things im worried about
flowers, dress, invites etc those are all standards and im not worried about missing the boat on those things
my main fear is the photo and video
and no, in order to get the 'help' i must do it in 4 months
