Im just curious when are you looking for a place...and how long b4 the wedding are you moving in together? I was speaking to FH about it (we live together already)., I couldnt imagine the horror of looking for a place just before the wedding and on top of it Moving!

We just bought a place. We were planning on buying something next year but we saw something we wanted it was a great price and it won't be complete until March 08 anyway.

09'er crashing: STRESSFUL! we havent really looked at too many places but we would like to move b4 the wedding! the wedding isnt till 09 so we have some time

We're gonna start looking in November, and if we find it, great, we can start setting up the apartment, but we are not going to move in until after the wedding (traditional values). But we're not leaving for the honeymoon until 2 days after the wedding, so that gives us some time to move in our stuff. I wish we could move in now, it would make things so much easier, but you gotta do what family wants you to do, especially if they're paying for the wedding!!

FH and I currently live together but are torn between trying to stay here and find a place or moving to PA. We've decided to ultimately plan out the wedding first and in about April (6 months prior) amke that oh so important decision. It's not too stressful now though becaue we currently live together in an apartment

I am moving in with him after the wedding....probably after the honeymoon get all my crap together...I am leaving my furniture and stuff at my parents...so all I really have is clothes and my dog!

We looked for a place last winter and bought our house!!! We are renovating and moving in right before the wedding, or quite possibly the night of the wedding....we'll see.

We live togehter now, but in my parents house. We're looking for an apt a few months before the wedding. I'm not too worried about the moving, because my parents will let us move out slowly, we don't have to do everything in a few days. I def. want to stay in the same neighborhood.
I just can't see my living away from my mother, we're best friends and spent a LOT of time together! I have a feeling I'll be here everyday! hehe

i could never imagine marrying someone i didnt live with first - even if you think that because you see eachother alot and sleep over every night its STILL different when you actually move in together - trust me! i did it - luckily it was the best decision I made, but its still something to get used to! especially if you never lived on your own at all - you girls are brave!

FH rents a house for a great price and I have been staying there and a lot of my stuff is there so sometime before the wedding I will be fully in there.
Then we will start to look for houses and continue saving like crazy for it.

FH wants to buy a condo. We'll probably start looking sometime in April. FH might move in first and then I will move in after the wedding.

we lived sinfully in VA for years...until I put my foot down, told him no milk for free if you ain't buying the cow and moved back in w/ my parents in NY (sometimes you've gotta light a fire under people's arse ). He sold all of our furniture and moved to Philly w/ his bro to 'court' me again so we're going to have to start over which i'm happy about.
Luckily FMIL is looking for a house for all of us out there, a two family so she has her own space and can take care of grand kids so i'm not stressing so much, but I think it still will be hell

we're getting married 2/16.. we will live together beginning 2/16..
