girls who ordered their dress from Burton's.....

please explain to me how it works.

can you call it in? is it a storefront that you can only go in? do you need the exact model # for the dress?

say for instance i want Maggie Sottero's Sabelle, is that good enough to give the name?

how much have you seriously saved if you did order through them?

i ordered my bm dresses through them. you can call them with a style number and they will give you a quote over the phone and then the girls can go get measured there. it looks like a house, downstairs is flowers, upstairs is dresses. they have a very limited selection there but can order almost anything. i would have ordered my gown there but they can't get that particular designer.
my friend saved almost $700 on her wedding gown there and i saved my bm's about $20 on their dresses (it was pretty cheap to begin with) plus they cap the bm alterations at $55.

i ordered my wedding dress there- I went and tried on dresses in other stores- I found one in Macy's that I loved but it was too expenisve there- so I got the style # and called around to find the best price- Burtons had the best price- so I ordered with them....
they have some dresses there- but not alot- i would go try on somewhere else...

I ordered my dress from them and it was a few hundred dollars cheaper than other places. My girls ordered them from there too and they were 60.00 ish les than other bridal places. All alterations were great and capped which was a plus!

I didn't save anything on the bridesmaid dress i got there.... In fact I felt it was ridiculously overpriced.

Bridal gowns i've heard is different. My friend saved I think 300 as opposed to ordering from Lilettes

However I do feel that you sacrifice service there. I felt the girls there didn't care at all about helping anyone!

I got my dress and BM dresses there. my dress was $300 cheaper than the other stores and the price i was given INCLUDED the alterations! i payed an extra $65 for the bustle. the BM dress was $80 cheaper than the stores and they're alterations CAP at $55.00.
their selection is small, but they can order anything.

I ordered my dress from Burtons. Carole is great. My dress was $400 cheaper at Burtons and they don't charge for alterations for the bride. The BM dresses that my girls are gettting are $90 cheaper at Burtons too.

Definetly go to other bridal salons and try on dresses till you find the one you want and then order from Burtons.

I see a few of you mention that theres no charge for bride alts... when i asked them on the phone last yr what their alt cap was... they told me $150 How is there a cap if they dont charge? Im so confused... I paid an extra $100 for a hollow to hem, but that of course is done at the factory ... so now the price i paid and signed for is the total price???

ETA: Maybe its the bustle thats additional that im thinking of
