I work in the theatre industry!

Shows that he'll like...

God of Carnage (though I didn't see it with the new cast)
A Behanding in Spokane (excellent, Christopher Walken is in it...very twisted. LOVED IT!!!)
Avenue Q (it's off-B'way now, still fab!)
Fuerza Bruta (also off-B'way...it's the 'new' De La Guarda)
American Idiot if he's a fan of Green Day! I saw it last week and am in love with this musical!!!!
Jersey Boys

tomorrow night I'm seeing Hair, I can let you know if it's something a guy would like. Not that I'm a guy, but I don't like the typical musical fare..

What's american idiot about?? I looove the song they advertise with! And who doesn't love green day?

I loved it so much. I can't wait until I have money again (post-wedding) and can see it again...and again...and again...

We played the ticket lotto on Monday and won $25 front row seats! We also bought 'obstructed view' seats for $37 a few weeks ago... still an awesome view, row G! There are ways to get cheaper tix.

I still want to go more! 3 times was not enough!

And now I want to work 'When It's Time' into the wedding somehow, haha.

I work in the ticketing industry, so I have restrictions as to the ticket lotto and such. But I get comps, so it's okay I can get the discounts, no problem...our company is one that makes up the discount codes

American Idiot - the album - is a concept album...if you listen to it from the first to the last song, it tells a story. The show adapts the album to the stage. The plot isn't as strong as I had hoped, but the music, choreography, and costumes are right on point.

And Chicago is still playing!

I am SO glad to hear this!!!!! I bought Fh tickets as a wedding gift. WE (and especially He) are HUGE Green Day fans!!! I was worried the musical wouldn't do the album justice but I am so happy to hear these great reviews!!! We gonna see it the Saturday we get back from the HM!! We're actually gonna walk out to 'Holiday' for our reception entrance

I just saw In the Heights and it was really great.. Prob a good choice if you're taking FH out.

Wicked is my all-time favorite. I've seen it like 4 times. If you like the Wizard of Oz you will looove Wicked.

I saw Jersey Boys last November- that was also amazing.

I really wanted to Fureza Bruta and Rock of Ages... hoping to get to a show over the summer
