Re: Great Time at Figaro's

Hey everyone!! This was the first chance I got today to log on! I had a great time last night, but wish I could have STAYED LONGER!!!! Sounds like you all had a blast - would have loved to meet this Brian!! Next time I hope!!

(By the way - I tracked down my landlord and my heat was fixed last night!! Just in time for the weather to get warmer LOL!)

Just wanted to say it was just great to put faces to all these names and thanks so much to all the girls who helped coordinate!!

Re: Great Time at Figaro's

Hi everyone,
I finally get to set up a post. I had my interview at 9am. It went very well I think. I thought it was a joke because all the guy was concerned with was if i drank coffee because it was me, the interviewer and another guy sitting across the street having coffee most of the morning. We talked and laughed and it felt like i have been with this company for years rather then being on an interview. it went very well. I'll find out officially everything tomorrow.

I too am dragging today. I think I had 4 or 5 drinks. But I had a head start, I got there at 5 and sat at the bar. Brian is feeling it too. He is not really hung over, but really dragging.

Octbride03 Brian took no offense whatsoever. He is the type that goes with the jokes and he'll joke right back. He was not offended in any way. Yes I also did the gift with the 2 bowls and the candy. Glad you liked it

Thrilled: OMG you are hysterical Brian tells me today ya know we need to take her out drinking with us. I couldnt believe it was really that late. We got home and passed right out. Though we're both dragging today. and how did you go from Chardenay to Amstel light??? I thought you were sticking with one thing????

Tonight I am biting the dog that bit me, i have to go out to a bar to meet a friend. I have my league bowling from 7:30 - about 9:30, then I am going to Baldwin to a place called Oasis to meet my friend. Great, another bar just what I need. How did I do this in college, becaus I dont think I can do this anymore????

Re: Great Time at Figaro's

LOL!!! YOu have me laughing Chippa!!! It's so weird what a few years can do to a person! I remember going out until the birds began to chirp and the sun was coming up! NO MORE!!! Now I get annoyed if a bar is too crowded or even too loud! LOL!

Anyway, just thought I'd let you know you got me chucking to myself! haha!

BTW, I congratulated you on the other post, don't know if you saw it! So, Congratulations again! Keep us posted!

Edited: I'm glad Brian was okay with what I said. I thought he was, but just wanted to make sure! Thanks again for the gift!

Re: Great Time at Figaro's

I felt the same way. I told Michael this morning, how did I used to do it. How did I go out Thurs-Sat to bars, came home when the sun was coming up and used to function? I guess Old age is catching up to us.

Re: Great Time at Figaro's

Old age caught up to me real fast. College life was so great, start thursday night at 7pm and stop sometime sunday then use mon, tues and wed to recover, thursday as preparting your liver and repeat. Now I am wondering how'll i make it through bowling. Bri and I used to be that hip couple that was out every weekend, hop on the harley, grab a bunch of our friends, go to hogs and heffers, dance on the bar, then head out to another bar and ride home when the sun comes up. Now I am like yea get me water and crackers and dont talk to me till Sunday.

Whoever did the photo album, I got and must have known I am very camera happy. I take pictures of everyone and everything. I have a huge box of photo's and they are in this box because I have no more photo albums and I dont know why I havent bought any more. I need my own book shelf just for photo albums. I am spending this weekend filling the album. I know the exact pictures I want to put in the album. Thanks so much.

Octbride03 it was all in fun. He had a great time. Yes I did see your post. Your very welcome for the gift. I will definatly keep everyone informed

Everything was great last night. I do hope we do this again.

Edited to write a few more things. I have a memory like swiss cheese. I forgot to say something the first time.

Re: Great Time at Figaro's

What happend to the nights I could stay out until 4am and get up and go to work? THose are so long gone. I'm felling pretty good, a little tired but otherwise good but I don't know how we all did it. I guess it's true - when you get older you slow down.

Re: Great Time at Figaro's

Fletch- Gurl- I'm so with you! I use to be able to stay out till the wee hours and go to work the next day. Now, I'll get up, not nearly awake (didn't get home nearly as late) and CAN NOT FUNCTION until noon! You guys are all young though!!!!!!!

Next time I'm definitely staying in Queens so I don't have to catch the boat- and I hope it's a Friday night- could get dangerous!

Re: Great Time at Figaro's

Lately, staying up past 10 pm seems to be late. There was once a time when I didn't go out until 11 pm and then made it to classes the next morning. Sometimes, it's hard to be a grown-up!

Re: Great Time at Figaro's

Hello ladies!! I am so sad that I ended up not making it last night. I had gotten my shift covered but ended up getting called in to my other job. I wish I could have said no but I have to save for the wedding. I'm glad you all had a great time and can't wait to see the pictures.
