I have been on the hunt for invites for the past few days and I finally found one that i love. Originally i was going to do the boxed invites from Encore, but I changed my mind and found something i love even more.

Angela: That is great. I originally fell in love with the box invites also - and then realized 'I CANT AFFORD THEM!!!' - i found another invite - just waiting for the sample to arrive!

I havent posted as much on here cause of school and finals soon approaching - but I guess that is a good thing too - cause that means i'm kinda focusing - *LOL* - i am acutally in the middle of class now

Wedding stuff is kinda on a hold - but FH and I are going to make an appointment to see Jack & Rose sometimes next week - YAY - i'm kinda excited about that. Angela - how is your florist search going?

Florist search is going pretty good. I think we are going to use Arcadia (they are located in Westchester). its still kind of early but after the holidays i have to start finishing up with the plans...only 7 months left!!!

We picked our invites already. Now we just need to get a final list from the families so I can order the right amount. I already told Peter I am not ordering more invites b/c my or your family forgot someone. They're just too expensive. They're from the Encore Expressions of Love Catalog.

Georgia: Good Luck with Jack and Rose. We really liked him! Let me know how it goes.

We booked our limo today! I booked with royalty. Very accomodating, and we know a few people who used them and were very happy. FM me if you need more info on them.

I used Gail for my e-party invites. She is aweome! Very nice to work with and I am pretty sure she discounts invites.

I have a good friend who makes stefana... do you want me to ask her if she makes ones like that? What is it made out of? Porcelain flowers? Or fresh flowers?

Hi girls - i havent gone looking yet - but i did look a few years ago when I was my cousin's koumbara.

I dont like the porcelain ones - i would think those flowers would look best in plastic - sounds tacky - but the ones i got my cousin were plastic and my moms were also - i'll try to post of picture of my moms-

I agree-I personally don't like the one with the porcelain roses either.

Well, my mom informed me that my bridal shower is officially booked!! I can't wait!! I have no clue when it is, but I am actually hoping it is sooner than later because I know that there is a lot of running around to do in the last few months before the big day.

Do any of you girls have any ideas or knowledge about your showers??

I know about my shower... it's going to be the first weekend of February!!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!! It's hard to keep it a secret when you live in the same house as your parents. My mom and sister-in-law are throwing it!
