Re: Greek Orthodox Weddings/Brides
Hey Lisa: I was going to post to you in a little bit. I spoke to the St. Paul's organist and she said that she will be able to play any classical music I want. She knows all the songs. I think I'm going to have my bridal party walk into the Canon in D by Pachabel and I'm probably going to walk into the wedding march. The organist charges $200 and if I want a choir they charge $500 I think we're just going to get the organist. She told me that I need to call her 3-4 mos before the wedding to set up a rehearsal date. She also said that rehearsals are only done on Thurs and Friday I really hope we can do it on a Friday because my MOH lives in VA and I don't want to make her miss another work day.

Isn't that how it goes in wedding planning?? I don't mind the $200 for the organist, but $500 is a lot, so we'll just stick with the organist

Re: Greek Orthodox Weddings/Brides
I'm assuming this woman knows what she's doing, since she does thie for a living. But I still want to go hear her play. Maybe I'll stop by St. Paul's one of these days to see how she is. Are you going to do this?
