Lol I wish I had yours!!! Lol its so hard getting a venue appt u want with such a low number lol I've had like 30 second conversations when trying to schedule an appt...I feel like I would have to have invite the postman to meet a minimum lol

I'm capping my # at 150 so most places should work with you. its not a completely far off

Chaeatu Briand has a room that holds 160

Hi!!

I am running into the issue regarding the guests minimum. Some require 200!! I wish I knew that many lol

I have on my invite list 149 adults and 13 children.

Can you please share some venues which have a lower minimum?

Is that the full number of people you are inviting? If so, you may want to look into something with around a 120-125 minimum - they say that 20% will RSVP no. Also, make sure that kids prices can still be discounted if they are being included in the minimum. I believe for FOx Hollow that they are only discounted IF you reach out minimum.

What are your thoughts in renting out a restaurant type of place?

Not sure if it's your kind of venue, but Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip is my venue. Their minimum is small (I have about 90 ppl on a Friday night). Plus, with that amount of people, you would be the only event going on there.

They are a restaurant too and you can go and try their food, which is amazing. If you do decide to go with Irish Coffee Pub, speak with Stephen there. He is absolutely amazing and very accommodating. Very Irish too lol!
