Had no luck again this weekend with Photographers

I feel like I am running out of people to look at, I have not found one photographer that I happy with yet. Its either they are way over priced for ok work or there work is amazing and the albums are not. I have no idea what i am going to do, I went to see one photographer this weekend and they quoted me $10,000 just for photography. Isnt that insane.

BM is who quoted me almost $10,000.00. No it is because of the crazy prices people are trying to charge.

You really should check out Mark Kaufman, Sonicstef used him, and I think she posted some of her pics here a long time ago, so do a search or FM her...they are amazing!

I'm also using him, and am very impressed with ALL HIS WORK.

Many girls are using him, and he's not ONE STANDARD price, there are different 'packages', so there really is a lot of leeway in terms of price.

I am negotiating with Mark but just cant seem to get exactly what I want and think is fair compared to other photographers of his same skill level. If we could work it out I would book with him but we just came seem to work out a good package. I am going to see Drew Anthony on Wensday night he was a photographer that use to work with Mark so hopefull things work out with him.

And for the 10,000, it was for 2 8*10, 1 11*14, 2 parent albums, 140 thank yous and a 20 page digital album, they tried to tell me the digital album is from Austria or a place like that, I told them that I know for a fact that they use a place in brooklyn, then the sales lady did not know what to say.

It is ok, I know I will eventually find someone. It is just so disapointing that I hate going to look at photographers when I should enjoy it. I just can not believe what some of these people want to charge.

I have an appt with him this weekend along with a few other, I am just venting about everyone I have seen so far. I am going to finish looking at everyone on my list, I just hope that I dont run out of people.

If you want try my photographer- she was VERY reasonable. She's in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn but WORTH the ride... Autumn- 718.921.0912.. do a search & you'll see some of my photos...
