ok - i think i know what my problem is regarding finding a half-up, half-down style. i think i prefer a down style...somewhat to jessica simpson's hair. it's down with some pieces put back. i love the big curls.
please help me wedding is in less than two weeks and no pic!
i will use the pics....but i don't think i like the 'piece' that runs acorss the back of her head. i think i am looking for a few pieces pulled back like she has, but something a little different.... am i making ANY sense?

Don't worry, you're making perfect sense. ONLY you know how you want your hair so it's hard trying to describe it to someone. I'm going for my 2nd hair trial because I'm thinking of different things. I'm sure if you bring the picture to a store they can tell you if they have it. GL

These pics have been on the boards a bunch of times- don't know if you have seen them.
I want my hair exactly how you are explaining it-i have been on the hunt for a good 'mostly down, some up do' for months-there is not much out there.
These have a lot of hair up, but are curly and romantic. The third one is what I am aiming for, I think.
In that first pic you posted, Jimmysbride, she looked just like Genesis from Real World. realized it wasn't in the 2nd one.
Shea, I totally forgot to post them when I get home. I can't remember which piece across the back though - where in the back? you mean where she joined the 2 sides she pulled back? You can do her hair and just skip that part.
