Hair Lady Just Cancelled!!!--Updated!!!

I cannot believe my hair lady--She just called and told me she forgot that she was on vacation the week of my wedding!!! And that she had some numbers that I can try to call to see if anyone can do my hair and my 10 bridesmaids!!!!! It's a month before the wedding!!! I am so upset right now!!!

I have reccomended her to so many people, and I am in total shock that she has done this to me---I don't know what I am going to do now----(BTW--she is a LIW Vendor)

Didn't this same senario Just happen to another LIW bride? I think it was Smolokoff??

ETA: Did you sign a contract with her? If so, what does it say about her backing out for a reason like this?

Ladies who are curious, do a search - you'll see who cancelled.

Smolokoff used the same person.
Her stylist said that her husband booked the trip without telling her. Whatever!!
And Smolokoff's wedding is 4/4/2004, about a month and a half after jennyhet's.
What's going on?? How can this woman do this?? I am so angry for both of them.

I hope not since I am using her and loved the trial - I am out of state and WON'T be able to do another trial - and she was the only one available that I could find to come to my home

So sorry to hear this news...and I almost went to her for a trial...thank god I didn't because she probably would have cancelled on me...I got married in a blizzard.

I know a month is not a long time to find someone new...but at least you do have the month to do it and she didn't cancel on you really at the last minute.

Try Denise Venti...someone on these boards has got to have her number and if she can't do it...ask for the name and number of the girl she recommends. I can't think of her name, it may be Vicki and she might work at Anastasia's or something like that.

A girl I know used this Vicki woman and LOVED her.

Girls--Thanks so much for all the support. It was actually Elena with the Bridal Touch---

I am so upset b/c I really liked her--I don't know if she wa mad at me, bc/c I had originally booked her for hair and makeup, and then I decided to go with another lady for makeup. Elena was upset and said it was fine--I even agreed to let her charge me more for my hair b/c she wasnt doing anyone's makeup!!

And the worse part is she actually made ME feel guilty by saying that her husband planned the trip and wanted the whole family together???!!!

The good thing is I found a salon in Huntington to take the girls, and I am going to my sister-in-laws hairdresser to get my hair done--she is doing a free trial for me and everything!! I am just glad I found people to do it so close to the wedding!!!

I feel sick that I reccomended her to so many people----
