I cannot believe my hair lady--She just called and told me she forgot that she was on vacation the week of my wedding!!! And that she had some numbers that I can try to call to see if anyone can do my hair and my 10 bridesmaids!!!!! It's a month before the wedding!!! I am so upset right now!!!

I have reccomended her to so many people, and I am in total shock that she has done this to me---I don't know what I am going to do now----(BTW--she is a LIW Vendor)

Girls--should I ask for my money back from the trial? I paid her and gave her a great tip--I just don't understand this at all!!

Re: Hair Lady Just Cancelled!!!--Updated!!!

I say yes. Because you wouldn't have paid for it if you knew she wouldn't be available on your day.

Try Mya at Cosmetic Artistry. She did a couple of girls hair for the GTG and she did a great job!

I wouldn't hesitate to ask for the money back. It's pure bullsh!t that she cancelled on you ONE MONTH before your wedding - with such a lame (imo) excuse to boot.

Re: Hair Lady Just Cancelled!!!--Updated!!!

So this means that she is going on vacation in Feb and April??? And her husband didn't consult her for either trip? Right!

Sounds like some shady sh*t me.

Sorry this happened to you. Try to get your money back. Remind her that her reputation is shot on the boards now bc she has given the same excuse to 2 brides who aren't even getting married in the same month!

i am so sorry this happened to you! I hope she really enjoys this vacation, because it just costs her a lot of referals from the boards. Keep us updated, I hope it all works out for you!

Re: Hair Lady Just Cancelled!!!--Updated!!!

I'm so glad you were able to find someone, that is so stressful one month before your wedding!

I am always willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, however, in this case, she gave the same odd excuse to two different brides whose weddings were so far apart. Sounds fishy, at best.

I'm amazed she would do something like this, knowing how we talk on these boards. I hope the vacation is worth the damage to her reputation.
