I cannot believe my hair lady--She just called and told me she forgot that she was on vacation the week of my wedding!!! And that she had some numbers that I can try to call to see if anyone can do my hair and my 10 bridesmaids!!!!! It's a month before the wedding!!! I am so upset right now!!!
I have reccomended her to so many people, and I am in total shock that she has done this to me---I don't know what I am going to do now----(BTW--she is a LIW Vendor)

Awww- I'm sorry- everything will work out ok. If you've done any trials w/ her I would ask her to contact her #'s that she recommended to you and have her explain the situation so you don't get hit w/ another trial charge!

wow- At first I was thinking, ok, this happens, at least she gave you some #s, but then I saw your date! thats' s so close. 10 bms is a lot. Was she coming to you. Maybe you can split up & go to 2 salons. (if they are not all matching do's) that might be easier than having someone come to you for 10 girls.

OMG, I am so sorry. That is horrible. I would be fuming. I can't believe she just realized a month before your wedding that she is on vacation. I'm sorry, but when I am going on vacation I remember that. I would definitley get your money back if you paid for a trial.

yeah I would try to get two hairdressers.. thats alot of girls to do and you dont want anyone feeling rushed or worst of all her rushing you

That is completely ridiculous. She is in a service industry where people book her months in advance. How can she just go on vacation when she has appts??? That shows that she doesn't care about you. Don't worry, I'm sure you will find someone else very soon, who will do a better job.

sorry to be mean but you know she didnt 'just remember' Im sure she either got an awsome deal on it or something like that... no one just forgets a vacation esp. when you have a buisness like this and you book things so far in advance!!

ETA: Did you sign a contract with her? If so, what does it say about her backing out for a reason like this?

Wow, I am shocked! I hope it all works out for you, I am sure it will. Start making some calls. I have contact numbers for people that Jacqueline Nicole recommended. I can FM the contact info.

That is so wrong. Call my hair place in Bellmore- they are WONDERFUL and have a whole salon full of people to do hair. It's Anthony Cole and the number is 212-221-1840. I had Vivian do my hair and she was GREAT!
