We had our wedding there 12/15/02, and it was wonderful. The food is great, really, really great food and the service is awesome. We got married in a church, and the only ceremony I have been to there was outside by the lake (omg like 20 yrs ago), but I am sure it can be done and it will be beautiful. They decorate so beautiful for the holidays/winter, actually all year round!!

I am getting married there in October. We are having cocktail hour in the Milburn Room and the reception in the Colonial Skylight Room. Kristen, the banquet manager, is awesome. The food is great. However, I agree that the included centerpieces are not really nice, though you can upgrade for a fee.

Thanks! We've pretty much decided this is where we want to have our reception. I met with Linda and she was very nice! We had a tasting and the food was great, in my opinion. We'll have the Nantucket Room. Our engagement will be kind of short since our date is set for Feb 13 (I'm not superstitious!). I'm really excited, but I'm beginning to find out that planning a wedding takes ALOT of time!

I was married there a longgg time ago - (October '01) and everything was great!!

I definitely agree on the 'included' centerpieces not being 'nice'!! We got our own and I used the included ones in my cocktail hour since they were only offering a 40 cent (yes, 40 cent per person credit). IMO, if flowers aren't important to you or your budget doesn't allow for 'upgrades', then use the freebies!!!
