has anyone ever had a bad EBAY experience?

So I won an auction from ebay 1 week ago. I sent my payment through paypal. I have tried contacting the seller & he has not responded.
I have to wait 12 days until I can file a complaint.
Has this ever happened to anyone?

Yep. Plenty of times (even before ebay had that file compliant thing)..sorry you are going through this, but at least you will be getting ur money back. How did you pay?Paypal? With paypal..it shouldnt be a prob. to get ur money back.

ETA- What is the sellers feedback?

Yeah, I paid through paypal. Whew, I was hoping I would be able to get my money back. That is a relief. I'm going to contact this deadbeat seller one more time after 12 days and if he doesn't respond i'll just leave him negative feedback.

See the problem with leaving neg. feedback is that he can do the same to you (even tho you followed through with the transaction)...What I would do is just file the complaint and get ur money back..and leave it at that. Unless of course you are fairly new to ebay and dont care about ur feedback rating being affected, because I think you can always start up a new account. But if you have a really good rating...dont do it.

Yes unfortunately. I posted a while ago advising not to purchase coach bags listed for $88.00 with only a Buy it Now option. I purchased two because my BM wanted them but did not have the account. Within an hour I get e-mail from both sellers indicating their accounts have been hijacked and they are not selling coach bags. I contacted Paypal immediately as well as my credit card company. Issue resolved although a lot of phone calls to get it taken care of..

I also had a problem with an ebayer selling me a moccasin that was similar but not the one pictured. Issue was never resolved. Complaint filled.

You are right. I will probably leave it alone after the complaint.
