The book The Conscious Bride? I saw it on Oprah, and I just bought it. Wondering if anyone else has read it.

Re: Has anyone read....
I read them both. They had some interesting points but I didn't really identify with a lot of issues discussed, like separation anxiety - moving away from home and away from parents (mom really). I hadn't lived home since I was 18 and lived with DH for 7 years before we were married.

Amy,
I felt the same as you. I haven't lived with my mom in 20 years so I didn't have the seperation issues. I lived with my former fiance for 7 years and my FH just moved in last month.

Re: Has anyone read....
From what I ahve read so far, I am not really identifying with some of the issues, mainly because I think things like that are an issue only if you allow it to be. But I also think it is always a good idea to reflect on yourself and ask yourself questions, and the only way I know for sure I am not having these issues is to be able to read about them and evaluate them. Did that make sense?
