just have to say that i visit the NW board all the time and I ALWAYS have the urge to post something on their threads but i realize its their board. i get to post there in 2 months so im patiently waitin.

'Our' board specifically states under newlyweds, that it's For Newlyweds Only.
There's even a disclaimer stuck to the top of the page:

The newlyweds would love to answer your questions, but if you have a wedding related question please post it on the Brides Helping Brides board. The newlyweds monitor that board and will respond to you. You may try placing the words 'Ask a Newlywed' in the subject. This board 'For Newlyweds Only' is just that - for newlyweds. It's kind of their haven to communicate with other newlyweds. Thank you for your understanding and support!
Please don't burn bridges with former brides. We're the ones constantly helping and answering questions. So, there's a little drama here and there.. it's ENTERTAINING! But telling us that we 'don't belong' could cause more trouble than I'm sure you're looking for.
So what would happen if we crashed your 'newlyweds only' board? Surely the world as we know it would cease to exist![]()

The For Newlyweds Only board was created to give the MARRIED girls a place to go when they want to chat about things that are Not Wedding Related. Which is why its not under the heading of Wedding Chat.
And as for the world as you know it ceasing to exist ... if you girls continue along this path, you're going to find that the 07ers may end up going on strike and they'll stop answering your questions.
Vendor recommendations from someone who's only booked a Vendor but not actually seen them in action aren't really worth a hill of beans.

We come over to 08 to help you, answer questions...some to try and help fan the flames.
We get aggitated when you post on NW b/c its always a wedding question and like I said the last time this went on-not ALL the NWs want to talk about weddings. So we will go to BHB, 08, 09 to see if we can help being that we have been there.
The 06ers were a wealth of knowledge to us...and we hope we can be the same for you. But if you dont want us coming over to help....we wont! But be sure when you post on BHB or NW we wont answer.
The NW board is like a right of passage-its hard to explain but that is how you will feel once youare married and someone says.....im wearing diamond white and my shoes are white-should I dye them-we allbut we answer the best that we can...you will too when its all over.

Ugggh, coming over to help and coming over to encourage and perpetuate drama are two completely different things the last time I checked![]()
It would definitely be a long shot to call what you ladies were doing on the drama thread 'helping' don't you think?

It happened to the 07ers.
The 06ers got fed up with someone over something ... and stopped coming to the boards and responding to threads.
It wasn't an organized thing, I don't think .... it just slowly happened.
And it definitely affected the brides who got married later on in our year.

It's sad that it happened that way, but I don't even think it's necessary to bring that up in this situation and to threaten us with the same outcome...the 08ers appreciate your help, but we don't appreciate you guys coming to perpetuate drama...I personally haven't been bothered by it so far, i'm a drama w hore like I said beforebut I know a lot of other ladies are really annoyed...

We dont need chat boards to successfully plan our weddings. People had beautiful weddings before LIW so I think we could survive.
