I am not sure that I want to do scroll invites anymore. I have been seeing so many other styles that catch my eye. I don't know what to do.
Do you ladies have any idea how I can incorporate my Shakespearean theme into another type of invite?
TIA

Re: having second thoughts about invites
What about having a sonnet printed on the invite?

You can always incorporate with the font, the wording, possibly a quote?

Jess, I absolutely LOVE your scrolls - they're unique and creative. You have to be crazy to even eye other invites!
Stick with your scrolls!!!!!!!!

Re: having second thoughts about invites
Jess, I am going to be completely honest on this one.....
I think the scrolls are a great idea, however, I know someone who did them and regretted it due to the postage costs....if this is not a problem for you then fine...
I think there are alternative ways that would be a shakespeerean (Sp// ) theme. WHat if you chose more of an antiqued paper color and chose a font that was more of a 'fiary tale' style...i was thinking more of a calligraphy type, like u see on 'once upon a time'
hope that helps..i will try to search for u online.

Re: having second thoughts about invites
Jess, if you're having doubts, think and re-think the pros and cons of having these invitations with other invitations that you're considering. I think you can modify the borders and add other 'Shakespearean' motifs to it such as fonts and border scrolls...think about it and compare the costs also.

Re: having second thoughts about invites
I was trying to say something like this...the font is old looking ( just the font, not the invite.) ..maybe you can find a cool paper stock that appears antiqued in some way. sorry my work filters all the good websites...
