We are planning on doing recipe books. We would have friends and family submit recipes, either through email or directly to the site that does the books, but now I'm having second thoughts about the idea. Is it a dumb favor? Uh, told FH my concerns and he said he still wants to do it. I'm just afraid that no one is going to submit recipes and its not going to work out. Should I start contacting people now and see what the outcome is so that if I get nothing I will still have time to do something else?? I just have no clue what the 'something else' should be. Decisions, decisions!!

I absolutely love that idea... why wouldnt people want to do it? I'd start asking for recipes soon though - you dont want to stress about this next year when the wedding is so close!

We're doing the same thing! We love to cook and when we have family over they always ask for the recipe, so we thought it would be a great idea. I'm really excited, the only reason i had second thoughts was all the work, (i'm designing it and possibly printing it at work). I think you should go for it!

I think it's a great idea, the people closest to you that know you want to do it will submit and I am having my bridal party put a blank card in the bridal shower invitation for guest to write their favorite recipe on. Which company are you using??

That sounds like a great favor! so unique, i bell all of the guest will love it. If you don't have enought recipes, let us know and i'm sure we'd all be happy to submit some.
