Having some cat trouble. Can anyone help?

For some reason our cat has started peeing on the carpet. The litter box is clean and always is. But she has started peeing under the computer desk on the carpet. Last week FH cut the carpet out because it smelled so bad and now she started peeing on the tile floor. I don't know what to do, It smells and I am tired of cleaning up pee. Anybody ever had this problem with their cat? If so, what did you do to solve the problem? Thank you!!

I don't have any suggestions for the peeing...but there are certain enzymes that take out the odor...

when our dog was a puppy he peed on our couch and we tried to clean it, but the smell was awful...we used the enzyme and it totally wiped the smell out...
