Why does lorrie tack on 5.00 to your order

I just looked, and my celestial tracers were 14.00 then she added 5.00 and then the tax.. she did it to my cousins too.. and i am assuming she has done this to me in the past.. I am going to call her, but before I do i wanted to know if you ladies know why she does this.. There is no reason for it listed on the reciept....

Suzanne - you pay for the party too? My CM didn't do that either (she had a party at a friend's house) I think you should definitely get a credit if you place an order.

Christine,
She charges you 10.00 probably cause she gives you a 12X12 page and a couple of stickers and a paper border. and she lets you use her tape runner.

I understand you wouldnt want to do that and then have no one buy anything , but if you buy stuff i think you should get the credit.

They give you the 12X 12 paper also in the hopes you will buy the 12X12 book for a million dollars!! but i am smarter than that!! i cut off the ends and stuck it in my cheap trusty top loader!!

I bought a 12x12 page to use as a background in my 12x12 book and it didn't fit

It was too big. I still had to cut a little of the width. I was quite annoyed. I thought this was a perk in using the 12x12 book

The CM albums are pretty pricey, but people swear by them. I wouldn't mind the cost if they were true 12x12.

I agree 100% Suzanne - I wouldn't mind paying for the use of supplies, the paper and the consultants time if I was getting a credit towards a purchase, even a $5.00 credit.

Heather i dont understand, you used her 12x12 and then it didnt fit in the album you bought from them or from someone else?

it was like 30!!!

Meredith - I hope you don't think I was hostile. I was just surprised and curious about some of the CM consultants charges.

My CMC is pretty laid back and I think sells more to supply her own habit vs make a lot of money selling.

Christine, not at all, I guess every teacher has their own rules and some are more lenient than others, I do know that alot of money is spent on classes in supplies and stuff and the shipping, the consultant gets charged for to have the company ship it to her.

I am excited and can't wait to start!!

Suzanne its not the page that didn't fit into my book. I bought a 12x12 piece of paper from Michaels that was to big for the 12x12 CM page

I think the $10 class fee is fine b/c you are being given product to use. The consultant, being Lorrie or Merrie, still has to pay for it. Plus they are giving you their expertise
