help! Bridal shower in Port Jefferson
I'm in charge of putting together my friend's bridal shower. Her mom would like it in the Port Jefferson area. Does anyone know of any good places in the area for a Saturday afternoon bridal shower? We would probably only expect 20-35 people. Thanks!

my sil had hers at portofino, across from danfords, which is now eleven by the harbor. it was very nice, an upstairs room. you can also look into il miradoro, the village way, danfords, port jazz or the elk street grill.

Re: help! Bridal shower in Port Jefferson
I would check out Ruvo which just opened up not too long ago. It's supposed to be really good. Also try Casa Piccolo...it's a little bit up North Country Rd. in Miller Place.
I wouldn't do Danford's....evrytime I've gone there the food was repulsive which is sad since it looks like such a nice place
Edited to add: I drove by the other day on my way to work and I think Eleven by the Harbor is closed down.

I just thought of another one. We had my sister's baby shower at Mario's in East Setauket (about 5 mins away from Port Jeff) and it was $18.95 a person. And they got bought by the family that owns Colosseo so the food is AMAZING!

my family has had tons of events at marios, my sisters RD and one of her showers (bridal or baby not sure) they have a room on the side which you can have to yourselves and would easily hold that many people. its on 25a

They've had the room for parties upon the entire time that they have been closed. My sister's shower was in June.
I would call and check it out if I were you.
We went there the other night and now the bar is open with a limited menu but they still have the same menu for parties.

Pasta Pasta is great! My sister had hers at the Printers Devil, which is now Ruvo in port jeff. They have a small room on the side. It was nice, but you can't have too many people.
