Help! I need a clergy!!

Hi all, I'm in a bind.

My wedding is in just 45 days and I don't have an officiant.

Originally I was going to have a friend who is a judge. He had a conflict with the date and can not do it. I then heard wonderful things about Revernd Callahan from Northport but he just called and is booked on my date!

Anyone have any recommendations??

Thanks!

Chris

Re: Help! I need a clergy!!

We're using the Knights of Notre Dame (www.catholicanswer.org). They may have someone available. They have a pool of like, 20 priests, and the funds go directly to a charity (a children's hospital).

Good Luck!

we are using Cantor Harris Cohen. He is the house clergy at my reception hall. He is also listed on here as an officiant. He is a very nice man, and his ceremony was just what we wanted. He is charging us about $350. Definatly check him out

Cantor Cohen

Good Luck!

Re: Help! I need a clergy!!

I think we're going with Rev. Joe DiVincenzo who is an interfaith minister. Phone: 631-732-0429. I thought it was pricey, but loved meeting his wife Judy and that she said she will help us to pick our vows. The Rev. put me at ease since he is a down to earth guy and I don't need anyone making me nervous the day of my wedding!!!

we are using Fr. Jim Wilshere. He is a reformed Catholic priest. If you need more info please FM me. We loved him. He is so down to earth. He met us for breakfast and really took the time out to get to know us.

We had a friend preform our ceremony...he was ordained by ULC

It takes less than 5 mins to do and is totally legal in NY (Except NYC) I combed the NYS Constitution and I have my marriage certificate...so its good
