Help me - I might switch my centerpieces now!

I need help - I am thinking of changing my centerpieces from all Calla Lilies to french tulips - the florist says it will cost the same amount so that is not a consideration.

So can anyone tell me why you like one over the other - how they both hold up - should I switch?

Here is a pic of a sample of the calla lilly centerpiece but I will going with the larger version (vase next to it) so it will be fuller.

or something like this? - also does anyone know how many tulips are in this?

i love both...
i love the calla lillies in the first pic...
in the second picture the tullips have a little wilting look(my only concern), but i know LisaT had a pretty tuilip centerpiece that stayed....

I think the calla lillies are a bit more sleek and modern looking where as the tulips are a bit softer and more romantic looking. So I guess it would depend on the room, for example, I think the room above with the tulips would have been perfect for callas. If your room has alot of wood or a more cozy, traditional look, I would go with the tulips. Does that make any sense?

Edited because I can't spell calla lillies!

I am personally a big fan of the calla lilies, so I would pick those.

Will this effect the bouquet you carry as well? If so, post your dress again and that will determine for me.

Kind of a crazy idea, but how about tulips AND calla lillies?

I think that the callas will hold up better than the tulips- they have a sturdier stem. You could always do every other table (?)

Okay, so does someone want to explain what's wrong with those pictures? I feel rather out of the loop.

Christine, me being the non-conformist I am, I am voting Tulips. Main reason - EVERYONE does Callas these days and I am the queen of doing things differently, sometimes just for the sake of being different.

However, go with your heart/gut/whatever. Your wedding will be gorgeous either way, I'm quite sure!

May this be the BIGGEST problem you have to deal with today.
