Photographers and Videographers are SOOOO expensive! Does anybody know of a photo/video combo for 5500 or less. All the one's I've seen have been 6k, 7k, etc. Our wedding is at Oheka Castle, and i would like to get somebody who's worked there before (there are so many nooks and crannies to shoot at). But, my fiance and I are paying for all the vendors ourselves and can't afford to go overboard on this.

try Duet...a lot of the girls on here love them..
also for photo...12th night is fantastic but they only do just photography but they work with Mittermax..which is a separate company but i've heard good things about them too
proline does photo/video..so does silverfox and perceptions...

check out patken & duet....they both do an awesome job & have all different kinds of packages for all different budgets...we're using Patken for our video & got a pretty nice deal. The Velvet Studio is amazing too...i totally would've booked their photography if i had known of them before. See CaMacho's review for pics. Good Luck!

Video Express Productions...they're in East meadow. I got video AND photo for $3500.00 He did give me a deal since I am a February (low season) bride, but I am sure he could go under the $5K easily for you.

With $5,500 you could get a great package with Right Angle Studios. Call and ask to speak with George. He has different price points but will also work within your budget to get something that works for you. Your budget is reasonable so you could probably get more than you think with George.

Im using 12th Night and Rambling Rose and its costing less than $3000
I was married at Oheka this May and used B rett Matthews they were PHENOMENAL!!! They have done tons of weddings there and know exact;y where to shoot! I used Chris and Dennis and highly recommend the both of them!

I booked Rick and Company, I am paying just and 4K for photos and video.
She is my sister and she is AMAZING (and a LIW vendor)...I would use her for my own wedding but she is my maid of honor!! P.S. You can find me on her website in the first picture...I am the 6th bridesmaid from the bride!!!

Try Vivid Photography & Videography...
Here is there website... They have different packages to choose from and I thought they were very reasonable! & There work is BEAUTIFUL!
I just wanted to say that your bridal review was pretty awesome. I had a food taste last night at the Chateau La Mer and met with Bob from Velvet Studio. If it wasn't for your review I probably would not have known about Velvet Studio.
