Help were can I get alterations done?

I brought my dress from Davids Bridal and I heard horror story about alterations. Can anybody suggest anybody out in Suffolk County????

I had mine done at Cathy's in Lindenhurst where the BM's got their dresses.

I got a recomendation from another bride on here for Marina # 631-580-5993. She is located in Ronkonkoma. She works at the Bridal Suite in Patchogue, but does alterations on the side out of her home. I have my first fitting with her this Sunday. I have already met with her and told her what I want and she seems really good. Plus, like I said she was used by another bride on here who recmended here to me.

I am getting my alterations done at Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point - they cap alterations at $200 for brides who didn't get their dresses there, which I found reasonable. They also cap BM alterations at $55.
