I would keep the dress. My dress looks crappy on the website-but yes-it loooks GORGEOUS on me. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

DO NOT CHANG IT! You in the dress versus seeing it on someone else in a magazine will def. change his mind! Besides its not in the color that you brought it in. Trust me once he sees you in that dress hes not even going to realize it was the dress that he didnt like in the first place. KEEP IT!

he is not going to know it is the same dress...he won't even realize it that day....you should stick with the dress you like and you feel comfortable in....

Dont worry about it. Sounds easier said than done. But boys are silly and there have been many times that FH liked something in a magazine but then didn't like it on me or didn't like something but liked it on me. I feel like pictures of dresses never do them justice and once you put the whole package together (you in veil, make-up, etc...) it will look totally different than what he saw on the page. Dont stress.

I would keep it. I doubt he'll remember the dress especially if it was a different color. He's marrying you not the dress after all.

I would keep it.. . . You are going to look gorgeous no matter what you have on. Honestly when your makeup and hair are done and all the finishing touches are done, he's not going to know what hit him

Do what you feel is right. . and IMO girls just know better then guys when it comes to this stuff.

Chrissy just stick with the dress you picked....FH said something similiar about a dress I was interested in and it hurt my feelings but Its the dress that I wanted and I dont care...if i feel beautiful and if thats the dress that I want to wear then thats what I am going to wear on my wedding day...don't worry time will pass...he probably wont even remember saying that

i think about changing my dress all the time after he said that...but its too late now and I already ordered it and still love it....

just go with you gut feeling and stay with the dress you originally chosen...the wedding is about you too..not just him...

besides whatever you wear...you will look gorgeous in it....Hope you feel better about this...

Listen, I've seen the pics of you in the dress and you look absolutly stunning in it! Your fmil is right. Every dress looks different on every girl. Plus, if the dress was in pink in the ad......well, you know how men are......they have trouble picturing stuff differently.

I just went on the Maggie website and found your dress and honestly, online, in that color, I could see why he thinks it looks ugly. It looks totally different than the beautiful dress you have!

Stick with your choice. He's def going to get all hot and bothered when he sees how incredibly beautiful and sexy you look in YOUR dress!!!

NO! Do not change your dress! FH has seen mine and said the same thing-but the pic is GOLD not white or ivory they show it in gold...but when I showed him almost he same dress in white he liked it-needless to say he has no idea what I am actuallly wearing (Good Thing) and if it looks beautiful on you thats all that matters

Hi!! Just wanted to say that event though he saw your dress on the website and said he hated it...It'll be completely different on your wedding day! If it was you in the picture wearing it I highly doubt he would hate it as much!

And think of this...how many dresses did you look at in pictures and LOVED but when you tried them on were like 'What was I thinking?!' It's going to be the same with him...You are a gorgeous girl and will look beautiful! He will be completely blown away! I hope you are feeling better about it! Just keep looking at it and remind yourself how much you fell in love with it!

He loves you girl! Im sure you could wear a leopard skin jumpsuit and he would think your the most beautiful woman in the world as you walk down that aisle to him.

I also agree with FMIL. Trust me when he sees you walking down that Aisle... He will be in the most excited and happiest state and have no complaints

Each dress loooks COMPLETELY DIFFERENT on each person. I am sure he hated it only b/c it was pink.....had nothing to do with the pickup. Can you post it? Lets see it!

that happened to someone i know....she and her FH were looking through a magazine and there was her dress and he said it was ugly...well their wedding day came and he didn't even know it was the same dress and he loved it!!!!
