Help with motivation!

Hey girls! I need some help with motivation! This weather is killing me! I have b-pics in two months and have gained some of my weight loss back! I just can motivate myself to get to the gym or eat right! Any suggestions?

i've been on livestrong.com where you can put in your weight loss goals and then easily track your calorie intake and all of your fitness. Also when im feeling tempted to cheat i go on the forum and read the success stories which is really motivating.

hope that helps.

yeah its the dailyplate. I love it! I've never been able to count calories in my life, but this site makes it very easy. And it makes you aware of everything you put in your mouth so there is no more mindless eating for me!

but i know what you girls mean about not having motivation with this weather. My fiance tried to talk me into taking a sick day today so we could watch movies and eat junk, but I resisted and said NO! hehe

omg this thing is amazing! i had no self control when it came to food and i would load up on cream cheese, cheese, the works (the bad stuff) whenever I ate b/c i figured that if i worked out, i would lose it. NOOOOOO boy I was wrong. When I actually followed the amount of calorie intake i was supposed to eat, i actually saw results!!!

I've been doing the same thing on sparkpeople.com. I also signed up for a boot camp class at my gym to force me to get there.

Thanks ladies! I'm just so freakin frustrated cause right before my birthday I was back in my size 10 jeans and now my 12's are tight! So disappointed in myself! I was thinking of doing p90x but I've heard mixed review regarding females.

I have my bpics in 1 and 1/2 month and u know what's motivating me? the MTV show 'I used to be fat' people from there lose up to 100 pounds in 3 months!!! it's crazy!!!!

I use MyFitnessPal app on my iPhone to monitor my diet and have lost 16lbs using it. I'm back to my high school weight!!!

Most important thing to keep motivation is to go straight to thegym from work. Don't go home in between. This prevents me from going home and watching tv or eating anything.

Find a gym buddy too! :)

px90 is sheer craziness! i hear it can be super discouraging given its intensity. when its warmer you can always find me down at the boardwalk and always welcome!

set a realistic goal ... for example 'i want to lose 5 lbs by march 1st.' much less overwhelming! you can do it and i am sure will look amazing!

i have been losing weight, but fooled myself into thinking i could fit into a dress i wore pre diagnosis two years ago. i put it on, it wouldnt zip and i cried! total motivator right there! i want to wear it on my honeymoon!

if i can be of any help lmk! i just realized who this post was

I know what you mean about going to the gym straight from work. I try to go in the AM before work. Barely happens though! As for a buddy, I've looked but noone seems to go to baldwin synergy anymore!

I haven't been going to the gym a's frequently as I should, but, both FH and I have been monitoring what we eat. We haven't had ice cream in the freezer in forever, and we dont consume anything that contains more than 15grams of sugar.

Were starting small, since our wedding is over 7 months away, but it's a good way to get your body acclimated to not having the things u usually crave.

Its torture for me not to order dessert if we go out to eat, but I just keep thinking about how much I want FHs jaw to drop when he sees me. Plus, it's all about looking good in those pics !!

That stinks. I'm a Massapequa gym person. You should start a thread looking for gym buddies

Put on lingerie and see how you look in it. If you're not happy with what you see it should help motivate you. Even if you say, okay, I'll just be good this one week, see how you look and feel at the end and it could keep you going. WW works pretty good. I lost 7 lbs in 4 weeks.

The best thing I can do is just get home from work... not even think about it and just get my sweats on and head to the gym... you gotta push yourself!!! As soon as you start flip flopping about wether or not to go, just change and leave the house!!
